Little Bandung is one of Bandung’s Government program initiated by Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil. The aim of this program is to create a place in some countries in order to promote tourism and sell Bandung’s creative products to foreign market. There are cafes, restaurants, art galleries and stores in Little Bandung that sell creative local products made by Bandung’s citizen. In the future, Little Bandung is also expected to be a bridge that brings local products to the world’s major cities, as well as to be an iconic brand to introduce the creativity and original products from Bandung. Moreover, Bandung city has recently been selected as World Creative City by UNESCO.

Having been selected as Top 20 Products of UKM by the government of Bandung, Matoa Indonesia was chosen to be one of the creative brands that can be found in Little Bandung’s store located in Hongdae, Seoul. Our participation in this program certainly adds one more country in Asia as our potential market. 

In the future, Matoa products will be found not only in Seoul, but also in other continents such as, Europe and America. The presence of Little Bandung has not only made our market wider, but also has motivated us to explore our creativity minds to create unique designs for our products as a proof that Bandung’s local products deserve to be known throughout the world.
